How do I train in order to get ready for the Tactical Games?

As individuals, we all have the heart and discipline to throw on our plate carriers and put in the work, but most of us are not specifically skilled in putting together strategic programming, which makes sense because strategic programming is an intricate process that requires a high level of skill. Some of us, however — have developed that high level of skill — and one of those individuals is someone you’ve probably competed next to and haven’t even realized it.

Meet Zach Forrest.

Zach Forrest has an extensive and impressive background including:

  • Served in the United States Navy from 2002-2008. Was on Navy SEAL Team 4. Deployed 2x to Iraq
  • Has owned and operated 5 gyms in Las Vegas (2008-2019)
  • Crossfit Inc. Seminar Staff trainer since 2010
  • CF-L4 certified
  • Crossfit Games Individual Competitor in 2009, 2011, and 2013 (also competed at Regionals every single year from 2009-2018)
  • Currently works with PushPress as a business mentor/consultant and internal business development (in addition to CFHQ Staff)

On July 20th we are releasing the Tactical Games General Physical Preparedness program. All programming will be created for the tactical athlete and designed by Zach Forrest himself who understands our specific needs and is one of us.

When you sign up for the program you will gain access to 6 workouts per week (warmup, strength and workout) that have been strategically programmed to help prepare you for the Tactical Games.
