Personal Use Guidelines
Event attendees are encouraged to capture their experience for personal use. This includes:
- Sharing photos and videos on personal social media accounts (provided posts are not commercial).
- Posting media on personal websites, provided no products or services are sold, and the site does not appear affiliated with The Tactical Games.
- Sharing media with friends and family.
Attendees may use personal equipment, such as cameras or smartphones, as long as their use does not interfere with other spectators or the competition experience.
Prohibited Uses:
- Reselling or monetizing photos or videos captured at the event.
- Using personal media for any commercial, professional, or promotional purposes.
Strictly Prohibited:
- Drone use at any Tactical Games venue is forbidden under all circumstances. Violators may face removal, credential revocation, or legal action.
Professional Media Access
Media professionals, including photographers, videographers, and journalists, must apply for press credentials to produce or publish media for professional use. Professional media use includes but is not limited to:
- Publication in print or digital magazines, newspapers, or books.
- Use in professional video content, including documentaries or films.
- Distribution of media to third-party outlets.
- Use of media for commercial purposes, including advertising or promotion.

- Provide proof of general liability insurance active for the event dates.
Credential holders must sign a Professional Media Agreement, which outlines permissible activities, access areas, and media use restrictions. Credentials are non-transferable and may not be shared, sold, or lent to others.
Commercial Use Guidelines
Media captured at The Tactical Games may not be used for commercial purposes—such as advertisements, marketing, or promotions—without prior approval and a commercial use license.
To apply for a commercial use license, contact media@thetacticalgames.com. Commercial use without prior approval is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.
Media Restrictions for Spectators
All spectators must follow these media restrictions:
- Cameras must be handheld, with lenses no longer than 12 inches.
- The use of tripods, monopods, or selfie sticks is prohibited in designated spectator areas.
- Use of drones anywhere on the event property is strictly prohibited.
Professional Media Access Areas
Credentialed media will have access to:
- Designated press areas near competition field.
Restricted Areas:
- Athlete staging areas.
- Competition field and firing line.
- Staff-only and volunteer areas.
